Green News: Tap water, the main source of drinking water in New Caledonia

9 out of 10 New Caledonians use tap water as their main source of drinking water. The New Caledonia Health and Social Affairs Department carried out a “water-health barometer” study financed by the European PROTEGE project. According to this study, New Caledonians believe that the quality of the water in the network is very good, with differences made depending on the geographic area and varying perceptions of what could be considered drinking water.
