Ulusapeti Tiitii, Principal Fisheries Officer at the Ministry of Agriculture & Fisheries in Samoa is attending the Gender & Social Inclusion (GESI) in Pacific Fisheries Symposium in Solomons today.
Ulusapeti graduated with a Masters of Science in Aquaculture by research from the University of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland Australia. She also holds a Bachelors of Applied Science double majored in Marine Science and Fisheries Management & Aquaculture. She has been working in the Fisheries division for more than 20 years and has coordinated several projects on Tilapia, seaweeds, trochus to name are few. Ulusapeti has received a few leadership awards, led the fisheries socio-economic survey in 2012 and is the main author of the report in collaboration with SPC.
