Coral Coast, Fiji
This marks the start of the fourth administration of the Pacific Islands Literacy and Numeracy Assessment. Item writing is one of the crucial activities in the PILNA process that has to be carried out at the earliest opportunity in the beginning of each cycle. This PILNA task requires creativity and imagination but at the same time demands considerable attention in its alignment to the 2016 Regional Benchmarks for Literacy and Numeracy and following guidelines for item construction.
This workshop is a collaborative effort to support the development of high-quality assessment items while at the same time fostering collaborative input and capacity building for item writers from the 15 PILNA countries.
