Pacific Regional Forum on National Human Rights Institutions (2023)

​Since the endorsement of the Pacific Regional 2050 Strategy last year, it is timely to explore the progress the Pacific region has made in establishing and strengthening National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs) and understand common challenges for the region to understand the needs for the region as well as individual country needs. SPC and the Asia Pacific Forum (APF) are collaborating to organise and bring together Pacific Island Countries for a 2-day event with the aim to share experiences, challenges and identify strategies to establish NHRIs.
