The inaugural Pacific Ecological Security Conference on regional biosecurity will bring together national leaders from across the region, development partners, regional organisations, agricultural/food security and natural resource managers, and the media to discuss the importance of managing and preventing the spread of invasive species in Pacific Island environments.
The conference is hosted by the Government of Palau Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Environment and supported by SPC, The East West Center, The Global Environment Facility, The Nature Conservancy, The United States the Office of Insular Affairs (OIA) and the United States Forest Service (USFS).
