Dr Kenneth Lameta

Dr Kenneth Lameta is originally from Samoa and is currently working in American Samoa as the Peer Reviewer representative. He is a highly qualified veterinarian specialising in livestock production and health. With his vast experience in the area, he has become a respected figure in the Department of Agriculture in American Samoa. Dr Lameta holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. His research focuses on the livestock industry in both American Samoa and Samoa. As an accomplished professional, Dr Lameta has proven himself to be an asset in veterinary medicine. His passion for his work is evident, and his expertise makes him an invaluable resource in the field of livestock production and health.

 

 

 

Professor Heather Worth

Professor Heather Worth is the Director of Te Puna Vai Mãrama, the Cook Islands Centre for Research at the University of the South Pacific, Cook Islands Campus. She holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Auckland. Her research focus spans across the Pacific, including New Zealand, Australia, Vietnam, and China. She is widely considered an expert in the social aspects of gender and sexual and reproductive health in the region. Professor Worth has led numerous research teams and has been acknowledged for her contributions towards enhancing research capacity throughout the Pacific. She adopts a collaborative research approach, fostering enduring relationships with universities, research centres, governments, NGOs, and communities. Her work has significantly influenced policy and practice in the Pacific, owing to sustainable partnerships with organisations such as UNAIDS, UNFPA, and the Pacific Community. With an impressive publication record of over 180 works, including eight books, Professor Worth's impact in the field is commendable.
