Side Event: One Health: Embracing the approach to lead to better health outcomes for humans and the environment 

OBJECTIVES

• To support the increased awareness of a One Health approach and agenda for Pacific Island countries that cut across human, animal, environment, and ecosystem health involving transdisciplinary approaches.
• To support communication, coordination, collaboration and mainstreaming of the Health approach: and
• To enable discussions about case studies that show how the one health approach is being operationalized in various Pacific Island Countries.
