The inaugural Pacific DataViz Challenge attracted inspiring entries from all over the world. We thank all the participants who breathed life into data with their entry.
The judges have deliberated and we are excited to announce the winners of the Pacific DataViz 2022:
- The grand prize of 1000€ is awarded to Arteme Pointel, from New Caledonia, for his Dataviz entitled:
“People’s Republic of China exports to the Melanesian Spearhead Group: 2013 – 2018 comparison”
- The 2nd prize of 500€ comes to the “Pacific countries indicators dashboard”, which was created by Jonas Brouillon from New Caledonia.
- The Google Earth experience - “Cook Islands Terrestrial Protected Areas”, by Pacific Standard Time Studio of the Cook Islands, 500€ with the special mention for storytelling.
- A special mention for teamwork is awarded to the Enterprise DNA Challenges Group, from the United Kingdom, 500€ gift e-card.
