It is estimated that 84.6% of people in Nauru living with a severe disability collect disability social protection benefits.

 

17 October is International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, on the theme: Building forward together - Ending Persistent Poverty, Respecting all People and our Planet.

One of the targets in SDG1: No Poverty seeks to "Implement nationally appropriate social protection systems and measures for all, including floors, and by 2030 achieve substantial coverage of the poor and the vulnerable".
