Nutritional value is altered in the creation of processed foods, and the added preservatives are harmful for health. Prefer wholesome and fresh foods grown in the islands. A healthy diet helps to protect against malnutrition in all its forms, as well as noncommunicable diseases (NCDs), including such as diabetes, heart disease, stroke and cancer.
