EQAP will coordinate the review of the Pacific regional teacher competency standards in collaboration with several regional agencies and development partners.
The review is necessary to improve the currency and relevance of the regional teacher competency standards in the changing educational landscape of the 21st Century.
It is also an important opportunity for education leaders across the region to hold conversations around key questions pertaining to teacher professionalism and teacher quality.
The effort will result in a revised framework that encapsulates the guiding standards for teacher professionalism in the Pacific.
