A regional training in Quality Audit will be conducted in response to requests for capacity building at the national level. Continued training in this area is important to ensure qualified auditors are available to carry out quality assurance work in higher education.
Quality audit whether internal or external, provides the opportunity for an organisation or institution to review its processes to ensure it is meeting its customers, regulatory, stakeholders and its own requirements.
Whatever the objective or purpose of the audit, it is critical that institutions that undertake this work are well prepared and ready in order to derive maximum benefit from the exercise. Therefore, it is very critical that officers of national agencies and institutions are trained to understand and be able to effectively participate in an audit.
The training on audit will be held from 16th to 27th September 2019.
