This coding workshop is designed to upskill education officials of the PILNA 2021 participating countries on the coding of the various test items used in the literacy and numeracy assessments.
The training is to ensure the participants will be well equipped to teach their respective country teams how to code students' responses. Participants will learn how the codes are applied and the processes involved in coding the different domains. Coding of students' responses of all the 14 participating countries will be conducted in-country with remote support provided by EQAP's Large Scale Assessment team.
The virtual training improves PILNA's quality assurance processes as well as builds country capacity.
