In this episode we discuss a new strategy that the Ministry for Fisheries and Environment recently launched to do just this – the Community-Based Coastal and Marine Resource Scaling-Up Strategy. Right now, there are about 10% of 4,000 communities who actively manage their marine resources. So, what about the other 90% of communities? This strategy provides a pathway to go from 10% of communities managing their marine resources to 100% over the next 5-10-20 years. Tune in to find out how!
