Catch up on our Qoli Vakamatau Show that was hosted on Radio Fiji One on the 2nd March 2022. Our show guests, Margaret Vakalalabure and Sanaila Rokotuivuna (Mata ni Tikina Dawasamu) shared stories about the impacts our rural communities have faced due to COVID-19. Fijians are know for their resilience and adaptability and when COVID-19 lockdowns came, our rural communities rallied together to get through these hard times. Many communities focused on agriculture activities and their gardens to support their food needs rather than fishing more.
