Size matters when it comes to ensuring fish and mud crabs reach set size, so big enough to breed. Breeding grounds also matter as fish and mud crabs need somewhere to breed. Vikatoria Ragusu from Bua shares her story about why we need to protect breeding grounds, especially mangroves. In Bua, lots of marine life, from rivers and reefs, retreat to mangroves to breed. Vikatoria’s top tip that she shares with friends is: Do not cut mangroves because they are very important as they are there to protect our fish and other marine life that live there.
